Curating New Media, Stanza

Stanza will investigate ways to exhibit his extensive body of work online both within and outside the gallery space. Through a residency at Plymouth Arts Centre (in the exhibition space) and working with invited curators he will look at a range of options for exhibiting both his own and new media work in general. A conference will be held looking at curating, digital media and the mainsteam arts late in 2008.
Stanza is a London based artist who specializes in net art, networked spaces, and installations that have been exhibited internationally. Educated in music and fine art, he is currently researching data within cities and how this can be represented, visualized and interpreted. Stanza was a NESTA Dreamtime Fellow from February 2004/5. and has subsequently been granted a Fellowship in the Creative and Performing Arts with AHRC at Goldsmiths College, University of London, Digital Studios.
