www.distributedsouth.org.uk is the backbone of Distributed South's network development. Participating artists, organisations and people who are interested in this work are encouraged to upload information such as news, events announcements and comments.
Events, exhibitions and seminars related to the residencies at different venues will remain open and responsive to developments in the work that arises from the residency and main commission partners.
To ensure that the project develops a strong peer to peer network of residency/commission partners, event partners, and artists, region-wide meetings will be programmed for updates on progress and face to face exchange of ideas. The website will be used as an information and resource exchange tool in order to encourage exchange of ideas and resources. Through this process the project aims to encourage more informal networks that will continue beyond the scope of the project.
